Arctic

Explore the Arctic scene beneath the dazzling Northern Lights. Keep an eye out for animal groups and collect Animal cards to build your stack. Use their powers wisely to bring your collected animals onto the ice floe efficiently. Win by earning the most points, aiming for the longest consecutive series of cards for each animal.

The game is played in turns, clockwise. Each turn consists of 4 phases: add cards to your stack, take a Power card, move Animal tokens, and draw cards from the river.

When it’s your turn, add as many cards to your stack as indicated on the last Animal card placed at the top of your stack. Then, move the tokens of the main animal and its associated animal forward and backward on the landscape. Take the corresponding Power card for the main animal. Finally, draw cards as indicated. Note that you cannot have more than 7 cards in hand.

When the draw pile is empty, it’s time to count the points. Only consider the longest collection for each animal and score accordingly. Animals that return to the forest score one rank lower than the series, whereas animals that reach the ice floe score one rank higher than the series.
