Crux RPG

Crux is a solo game about climbing to the top of a mountain. It's a two to three hour gaming experience with replayability options and plays through dice and a deck of cards.

Alpinist, rock climber, hiker; there are many ways to describe who you are and even more reasons to explain why you climb. You climb to push yourself, explore, and reach heights no one has reached before. You climb to sit on the summit and see the sun set underneath the clouds. Regardless of why you choose to make this journey, the only certainty is that the path will be a challenging one. Climb, fall, start again. Crux is a solo game focused on climbing to the top of a mountain.

While the goal is to reach and surmount the Peak, the game focuses on the process of the climb, which includes facing challenges, failing, and trying again. The game uses a deck of cards to determine which obstacles your Climber faces while climbing, and dice rolls to overcome those challenges.
